An intercultural education officer with African parents who grew up in Germany takes us to the African continent, including Zimbabwe, Namibia, Ethiopia, Egypt and South Africa.

Weyni Tesfai is an intercultural trainer and education officer. She studied ethnology and African studies at the University of Cologne and specialises in the topics of flight and migration, as well as racism and (neo-)colonial exploitation. She was born in Germany to an Ethiopian mother and an Eritrean father, which is why the conflict in her country of origin was ever-present for her, even in Germany.
